“Interdisciplinary collaboration is what is needed to create the breakthroughs of the future”
Project manager Camilla Stokkevåg began the opening ceremony by emphasizing the interdisciplinary collaboration that is the foundation of the SUMMIT project.
On March 24, the opening ceremony for the project was held at the Proton Center in Bergen. The goal of the SUMMIT-project is to increase knowledge about more precise and gentle cancer treatment – with the greatest possible effect and the fewest possible side effects.
The project has a total budget of almost 80 million kroner and contributes to driving the development of future cancer treatment.
