Jørn Jacobsen

Jørn Jacobsen is professor of law at the Faculty of Law, University of Bergen. Jacobsen graduated at UiB as cand.jur. in 2003, and was thereafter appointed as researcher at UiB. He has served this institution since. As part of writing his PhD, he spent approximately two years visiting the Department of Law, University of Lund, Sweden.

Later on, Jacobsen has lead research projects, taught criminal law and led the research group for legal theory. He is also founder and editor of Bergen Journal of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice. He is also guest teacher at the Department of Law, at the University i Gøteborg, Handelshøgskolan, Sverige.
