Norwegian universities and university hospitals can receive grants from this foundation. Applications from other institutions, organisations or individuals are not considered.
The foundation invites universities and university hospitals to apply, either through calls for proposals or by direct invitation.

Results from the Mohn Nutrition Research Laboratory
The Mohn Nutrition Research Laboratory was established at UiB in 2018. For the last five years, the laboratory has been supported by the Trond Mohn Research Foundation in collaboration with Haukeland University Hospital and the University of Bergen. This article highlights results from the research groups at the laboratory during this period. The laboratory is led by Professor Jutta Dierkes and researches obesity and malnutrition and their causes, consequences and treatment.Focus Areas
