All TMF calls for applications are announced here. The Foundation only accepts applications by invitation/through calls for applications.

About the calls for applications:

The TMF Starting Grant Programme (recruitment programme for the University of Bergen) is announced annually, normally in December with the application deadline in mid-March the following year.
Calls for applications in a thematic program will be announced in close collaboration with the respective academic units.

Our sister foundation, Tromsø Research Foundation (TFS) will handle calls  connected to this program. The next announcement for the TFS Starting Grant program is expected towards the end of 2025.
