All TMF calls for applications are announced here. The Foundation only accepts applications by invitation/through calls for applications.

About the calls for applications:

The Starting Grant Programme (the recruitment programme) is announced annually, normally in December with the application deadline in mid-March.
Thematic calls for applications; individual calls that are announced after initial dialogue with the relevant expert communities. Example: call linked to the national mathematics programme (2017).

The Trond Mohn Research Foundation (TMF) has established a program to support UiT- the Arctic University of Norway. Our sister foundation, Tromsø Research Foundation (TFS) will handle calls  connected to this program. The next announcement for the TFS Starting Grant program is expected towards the end of 2025.
