Helge Ræder
Helge Ræder MD PhD is a Professor and Vice Dean for Innovation at the Faculty of Medicine, UiB. He is also a Consultant in endocrinology at Barne- og Ungdomsklinikken, Haukeland university hospital. He completed his pre-graduate studies at the University of Bergen (MD 1997, PhD 2006) and has twice been at the Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School (2005-2006 and 2010-2011 as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar).
He is now heading a Stem Cell research lab at the K. G. Jebsen Diabetes Center at the Department of Clinical Science. He is also a founding and principal board member of the Bergen Stem Cell Consortium. Ræder received the TMS-founding in 2013.
