Research Unit for Health Surveys

The University of Bergen (UiB) and Haukeland University Hospital (HUS) perform major studies on healthy individuals and patients with minor conditions. A Trond Mohn Foundation grant has contributed to the establishment of the Research Unit for Health Surveys, FHU where such studies can be performed.

FHU is a collaboration between UiB and HUS, and it is hosted by UiB.

Examples of studies performed at FHU include intervention studies, follow-up studies of patients, population surveys and nutrition studies. FHU will also be able to conduct studies in cooperation with business and industry, for example the nutrition industry, pharmaceutical industry and the primary healthcare service.

FHU was opened on November 3, 2017.
