Associate professor Renate Grüner leads the Mohns Medical Imaging and Visualization Centre at Haukeland University Hospital. Her project was a multidisciplinary and international project using the newest technology at the time. The main objective was to develop PET tracer and tracer detection capabilities, which was expected to significantly improve diagnostics and understanding of disease mechanisms in mental disorders, and to investigate the pathophysiology in tumor classifications.
