The joint project of the Troms\u00f8 research foundation and the Trond Mohn research foundation&#8217;s mathematics investment (PureMath) has established a lecture series called the Elisabeth Stephansen lecture to honor Stephansen and highlight outstanding female mathematicians. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The lecture series was instituted in connection with the national meeting of mathematicians in Troms\u00f8 2022.
