About the calls for applications:<\/h2><\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]The TMF Starting Grant Programme (recruitment programme for the University of Bergen) is announced annually, normally in December with the application deadline in mid-March the following year.
\nCalls for applications in a thematic program will be announced in close collaboration with the respective academic units.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\n

Call for proposals: Troms\u00f8 Research Forundation's tematic initiatives<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Troms\u00f8 Research Foundation has announced NOK 50 million for thematic initiatives, a two\u2011stage call with funding decisions expected in spring 2027. The call is linked to the Trond Mohn Foundation\u2019s UiT initiative.<\/p>\n

\n

The deadline for submitting pre-proposals for the first round is 15 June 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Call for proposals: Funding for research into Immune Dysfunction<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The Trond Mohn Research Foundation has allocated 25 MNOK for research on the topic of immune dysfunction. In collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at UiB, which is contributing similar resources, a project competition has been announced. The competition has two stages and the first round is administered by the Faculty of Medicine, which selects projects that will be sent to the second round, <\/span>which is administered by the Trond Mohn Research Foundation. <\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for applications for the first round is 30 April 2026 AT NOON<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

University of Troms\u00f8 is invited to nominate candidates to the TFS Starting Grant program.<\/div>\n

The Trond Mohn Research Foundation (TMF) has established a program to support UiT- the Arctic University of Norway. Our sister foundation, Troms\u00f8 Research Foundation (TFS) will handle calls\u00a0 connected to this program. The next announcement for the TFS Starting Grant program is expected towards the end of 2025.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
