This initiative includes funding to recruit five professors to different UiB departments UiB, operational support for the use of advanced medical equipment for personalised medicine and genome sequencing, and the establishment of a bioinformatics service centre for researchers at UiB and HUS; the SAMB Centre for Applied Bioinformatics.<\/p>\n<p>The newly recruited professors are assistant professor Markus Miettinen (Dept of Chemistry), professor Anagha Joshi (Dept of clinical science 2), professor H\u00e5kon Dahle (Dept of Biology), professor Sushma Grellscheid, (Department of Biology), professor Susanna R\u00f6blitz (Department of informatics).
